The client is a car driving school based in Ahmedabad. They had no website or social media presence, relying solely on local word-of-mouth for visibility. Recognizing the need for online exposure, the client opted to optimize their Google Business Profile.

Goal:

  1. Increase visibility on Google Search and Google Maps for relevant local search terms.
  2. Drive customer inquiries through direct calls.
  3. Establish a strong local presence without the need for a website.

Problems Found:

  • No Website: The client lacked a website, limiting their ability to provide in-depth information or showcase testimonials.
  • No Social Media Presence: Without any social media accounts, building an online audience and driving engagement was challenging.
  • Highly Competitive Niche: The local driving school market in Ahmedabad is competitive, with multiple well-established businesses already dominating search results.
  • Limited Visual Content: The client initially had very few professional photos or videos, which are crucial for engaging customers on Google Business Profile.

What I Did?:

    • Added high-quality images of the driving school, vehicles, and instructors.
    • Focused on complete profile optimization to meet Google’s ranking criteria.
  4. Customer Engagement:
    • Encouraged customer calls directly through the Business Profile.
    • Monitored and analyzed user interactions for performance improvement.

The Outcome

1. Search Visibility Growth
a. 2,234 Searches showed the Business Profile in results (+210.7% compared to November 2023).

2. Top Searh Terms:
a. Driving school near me – 387 searches
b. Driving school Ahmedabad – 307 searches
c. Driving school – 211 searches

3. Profile Interactions
a. 317 Total Interactions (+118.6%). These interactions include calls, direction requests, and profile clicks.

4. Customer Calls
a. 205 Calls were made from the Google Business Profile (+220.3% vs Nov 2023).

5. Views by Platform
a.  5,290 Total Views (+161.6%)
b. 75% Google Search (Mobile)

Lessons Learned:
