Description

It is an Indian brand renowned for its innovative and safety-certified baby products designed to make parenting easier and more enjoyable. Established with a commitment to quality and affordability, the brand offers a wide range of baby gear, including strollers, high chairs, car seats, baby bedding, and feeding products, all adhering to international safety standards.

An Indian baby products business with a Shopify store wanted to grow its online visibility and revenue. The goal was to bring more people to the website and increase sales. They needed someone to fix SEO issues and improve their search presence. This is where my SEO Consulting service came in.

Goal:

  1. Get more visits from search engines.
  2. Improve how users interacted with the website.
  3. Increase sales from organic search.

Problems Found:

  • The website wasn’t ranking for non branded keywords that brings the sales.
  • Product pages lacked proper descriptions and optimization.
  • Page speed was slow, making it harder for mobile users to stay.
  • Blog content wasn’t targeting what customers were looking for.

What We Did?

1. Better Keywords

We focused on long-tail phrases people in India search for. Keywords related to baby care and baby products worked really well.

2. Fixing Technical Issues

The site had slow loading times (around 28 seconds of fully loading) and duplicate pages. These were cleaned up. Pages were optimized to load faster, especially on mobile. Canonical tags were corrected.

3. Improving Content

Created blogs and guides around common baby care topics. Connected these blogs to product pages to guide users where they needed to go.

4. Organizing Internal Links

Set up links between different sections of the website. Blogs directed users to product pages, and product pages linked back to related blogs.

5. Product Details

Images were updated with proper tags. Product pages got detailed descriptions, making them easier to find.

The Outcome

1. Traffic Growth

Visits from search engines jumped from 10,669 to 37,900, which is a big increase. Sessions more than doubled as well.

2. User Engagement

People were clicking around more and spending time on the site. Events per session went up slightly.

3. Sales Boost

More visitors meant more buyers. Conversions went up by 67%. Organic sales went from ₹12.8 million to ₹23 million in just one year.

4. Extra Wins

Social traffic saw a huge increase too. Sharing helpful blogs and videos got people interested. The business also made some revenue through organic video content.

  3. Linking blogs and products together helps guide visitors better.
  4. This SEO strategy helped the brand grow in search engines and turn visits into real sales.

SEO for Baby Brands: What to Copy From This Case

Baby product buyers are parents who check safety and trust before they buy, and they search in specific phrases. These steps come from the work above.

  1. Build keyword groups by product category. Diapers, feeding, bathing, nursery, baby gear and kids furniture each have their own search phrases. Give each category its own landing page and map long-tail phrases to it. See how to rank product category pages.
  2. Show safety and trust signals on product pages. State safety certifications, age ranges and materials in plain text, and add descriptive alt text to product images.
  3. Write full product descriptions. Cover size, age fit, materials, care and what is in the box instead of copying supplier text.
  4. Fix speed and duplicates. Slow mobile pages and duplicate URLs held this store back. Compress images, remove duplicate pages and set correct canonical tags.
  5. Link guides to products and back. Publish parent-focused guides, link each one to the related product or category page, and link products back to the guide.
  6. Track organic revenue, not only visits. Set up GA4 ecommerce reporting so you can see which pages bring orders.

Baby Products SEO: Frequently Asked Questions

What is SEO for baby products?

SEO for baby products is the work of making a baby store’s category pages, product pages and guides easy for search engines to find and for parents to trust. It covers keywords, page speed, product details, internal links and tracking.

Which keywords should a baby ecommerce store target?

Start with long-tail phrases tied to a product category and a parent’s need, such as the product type plus age or use. Group them by category (diapers, feeding, bathing, nursery, baby gear) and map each group to one page.

How long does SEO take for a baby ecommerce store?

In this case study the results were measured over one year. Timing depends on the starting site, the competition and how fast fixes ship, so expect months, not days, and measure organic revenue every month.

Do baby brands need blog content?

Yes, when the guides match what parents search and link to products. In this case, guides connected to product pages helped move visitors toward a purchase. Guides that never link to a product or category page give readers no next step.

Is Shopify good for baby product SEO?

Shopify can rank well when the basics are right: a clean category structure, unique product descriptions, fast pages and correct canonical tags. The store in this case study ran on Shopify.

Can you help my baby brand with SEO?
